On November 23, 2025, the 2025 "NIO Cup" China University Student Electric Formula Competition (FSEC) successfully concluded in Hefei. With outstanding strength, Jilin University Gspeed Electric Formula Racing Team successfully defended the national championship, claiming first place in four categories: Race Car Design, Business Presentation, High-Speed Obstacle Avoidance, and Endurance Test. This remarkable achievement marks the team’s "three-peat championship" in both gasoline and electric categories!

Gspeed Vela, the new-generation electric formula race car fielded by Jilin University, stands as a technical benchmark in domestic university competitions. Building on the advantages of a three-motor drive and long-wheelbase layout, it features three core characteristics: full chassis electronic control, overall vehicle control, and consistent power delivery. Additionally, it innovatively incorporates cutting-edge functions such as electronic damping force control and rear-wheel active steering. Prior to this, the car had already broken the historic fastest lap record at the Japan Student Formula Competition.
